Retreats

Each year a fall/winter and a spring retreat are held. The retreats provide the opportunity for Fabrangen Cheder members to come together as a community. Retreat activities include shacharit (Shabbes morning) services, communal cooking, singing by the bonfire, fishing and canoeing, adult discussions, hiking, soccer, baseball, tie-dying and other arts and crafts, and yoga. The spring retreat is held the weekend before Memorial Day at Charter House, on the Susquehanna River. Most recently the fall retreat has been held at lodges along the Appalachian Trail.
